Our aim is to equip all pupils with the skills and confidence to solve a range of problems through fluency with numbers and mathematical problem solving and reasoning. 

Children at St George's are encouraged to see the mathematics that surrounds them every day and enjoy developing vital life skills in this subject.

At St George’s, we continue to improve the learning and teaching of mathematics across our school.  We use existing research in order to develop our teaching and provoke thoughts which lead to change.
