28.03.22 PSSP KS2 Change for Life
We had an awesome time at the KS2 Change 4 Life Festival at Marjons today hosted by PSSP. We were able to experience four different activities along with other schools from across the city which included the climbing wall, dancing, creating our own healthy smoothies and finally target throws and various games. We also got to sneak a peek at a Plymouth Patriots training session!
The Schools Games values of determination, passion, self belief, teamwork, honesty and respect were demonstrated by the children throughout the day - this was clear by the amount of stickers they left with!
We were also very fortunate to meet GB rowing champion Chloe Beer who took part in the Atlantic Challenge in 2020 & Dan Pullinger who played rugby for England under 18s and now plays for Plymouth Albion! The children were able to ask questions about their sports and how their careers started. 🚣🏈
All our children were absolute superstars having a go at everything that was on offer to them. 🤩🤩
Huge thank you also to parents for helping out with lifts to and from the event today - this makes events like this accessible for more children 😊
