19.06.22 PSSP Schools Challenge on Plymouth Hoe

Wow! What an absolutely amazing morning we have had taking part in the PSSP Schools Challenge completing our final mile on the Hoe. The atmosphere was electric from the minute we met, to entering the race village and completing the run itself. Well deserved medals were awarded to every participant. 

The school games values of determination, passion, self-belief, honesty, respect and teamwork were all displayed - I know taking part in such a big event can be incredibly daunting so they all deserve a huge pat on the back for overcoming this.

I want to say a huge thank you to parents for your patience checking your children in and out with us - this is the hardest part for us as staff and today went like clockwork so thank you! 

I hope everyone is having a well deserved rest, and even more so hope that a passion for running has been instilled and it’s something the children will aspire to do again at some point!

Well done Team St George’s - as always you were awesome and we’re all incredibly proud!

Huge congratulations to the children who couldn’t make the final mile on Sunday on Plymouth Hoe, they completed their challenge in school joined by all their friends and had their medals presented to them! Well done Team St George’s!
