04.07.22 PSSP OAA Day at Mount Edgecumbe Year 6

What a fantastic day we have had at Mount Edgecumbe with our year six children today taking part in the PSSP Orienteering, Activities and Adventure Day. We joined 25 other teams from schools across Plymouth to take part in a range of activities including various games, orienteering, team building exercises and beach art. This event encourages the children to work on leadership and communication skills and develop character and life skills, it also helps encourage decision making, thinking and problem solving skills. The children displayed the school games values of determination, teamwork, self-belief, honesty, respect and passion. Some children got the opportunity to experience new activities and it was great to see them embracing this.
